Standard introduction

Greetings, my dearest companions and do make yourself welcome to the humble abode of my ever so wonderful writings.

(I have attempted to use my evidently accurate Austen language as a means of introduction).

My name is Yvette.

I have begun this blog in the midst of my final year examinations, which seems to be the typical reasoning for the commencements of blogs - stressed younguns needing an outlet for their hatred towards the geometry of circles - so I will save you the eye strain of reading yet another case.

I am currently 16 years old, having reached this fantastical age of expectation only 11 days ago.

I named this blog the 'perks' of being Yvette simply because I have a renowned (and not in a good way) character trait of being exceedingly negative. Perhaps it will prod me to write more pleasantries rather than rambling rants. However, I have since been informed that the title 'perks of ___' puts me quite neatly under the 'annoying try-hard hipster indie girl' category. Oh well.

I have an extreme soft spot for the likes of Mr Darcy and the colour pink. And might I add the lantern scene of Tangled - now who can argue with the sky high like-ability factor of it. I dare you to object.

But I must admit, the deepest roots of my affection do not lie with Darcy or Flynn (many apologies), but with the most amazing, perfect, graceful, friendly, compassionate, forgiving, loving, heavenly being that has ever and will ever enter my life. Who else but Jesus?

I sincerely hope that you will continue reading my incongruent, nonsensical writings on this sorry excuse for a diary, but if you have managed to come this far down, then I suppose it's not too high of an expectation?
